How it works...

Our mission is to make professional assisted self-publishing as stress free as possible. Take a look at the steps that make up our our book production services.

STAGE 1: EDITING

  • You send us your manuscript!

  • Several of our staff copy edit your manuscript on Word or PDF, tracking changes and inserting comments.

  • Some of the things we aim for include consistency, clarity, citations, and technical perfection.

  • You review the copy edit, accepting or rejecting changes and answering questions.

  • We prepare the manuscript for composition!

STAGE 2: BUILDING PAGES

  • We design the interior and build a template.

  • We compose your book’s pages.

  • We import and properly format the manuscript; place art, tables, and equations; add the covers; and more!

  • Between you (the author) and our staffers, we proof, revise, and index the pages in a few rounds.

  • The final product is created!

STAGE 3: OUTPUT

  • We create press-ready and print-on-demand PDFs using a “preflight” check to be sure nothing gets delayed at or rejected by the printer.

  • We create an ePDF as well as an ePub or Mobi version of the book.

  • The product will be interactive and optimized for different reading platforms.

  • We archive all our work products for any future reference.

  • We shake hands with you in congratulations! You’ve just published your book.
