TIPS leverages an entirely electronic (paperless) copy editing process using Microsoft Word to track changes and comments. Tables can be embedded, but figures should be kept in native, high-resolution format. For equation-rich books, TIPS employs batch processing to quickly and accurately format, convert, and export equations to EPS files, which are then batch imported and placed in the composed pages. We can literally process thousands of equations in minutes!

Proofreading of composed pages is done using Adobe Acrobat Professional. Pages are then returned for client review. This cycle iterates, as needed, until the production values meet or exceed the client’s expectations.
